The ranch is looking unbelievably green. Over the past week we've received roughly 5 inches of rain. Our initial water guzzler has been completed after a delay due to dry conditions and needing to weld. The guzzler is now holding nearly 1,200 gallons of water out of a 1,550 capacity. We've begun the use of Record Rack mineral licks next to protein feeders and should be able to tell how well the deer favor the mineral licks over the July 4th holiday. Our brand new skinning shed has been completed, outfitted with necessary tools/accessories, electric winch, scales and is awaiting the installation of a game cooler. Unfortunately, plans have been put on hold for redesigning our fishing lake. However, we are fortunate to have the lake holding water again and will be restocked this season. Bucks have started growing their antlers and are looking good in velvet.

Another successful hunting season has concluded and we are excited to launch MogulRanch.net. Our processing shed has just been completed and pictures should be posted soon. We are currently consulting various lake designers to begin work on constructing our new 2 acre bass fishing lake. The lake should offer great recreation during the day between hunts and be a unique sight in a normally waterless West Texas landscape.
